OnePlus is said to be expanding its OnePlus 13 series with an exciting new addition—the OnePlus 13 Mini. Its official name hasn’t been confirmed. However, it’s rumored to be launched as the OnePlus 13T or OnePlus 13T Mini as well. This new device is going to be a game-changer for anyone looking for a high-performance small phone. Particularly those who normally find themselves with limited options among Samsung Galaxy and Apple iPhone options.
Gigantic Battery in a Small Package
One of the most interesting features of the OnePlus 13 Mini is its alleged 6,300mAh battery. This would be a big improvement over the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, which pack 6,000mAh batteries. Small phones typically make sacrifices when it comes to battery capacity. However, OnePlus appears to be working around this issue by fitting a more substantial power source without making the phone less portable. In addition to that, rumors point to it having 80W wired and 50W wireless charging capability. It may also integrate a silicon-carbon battery with better energy density and efficiency.

Leaked images indicate that OnePlus 13 Mini may borrow design elements from the iPhone 16, especially in its camera module. Reports point to a pill-shaped vertical camera module, but another report hints at a horizontal configuration. Whichever the final design may be, the phone is rumored to feature a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
Yet another striking design tweak could be the inclusion of an Action Button in place of the traditional Alert Slider, following Apple’s lead in iPhone 15 and 16. If this shift is accepted by OnePlus enthusiasts, it remains to be seen.
Competitive Pricing and Launch Timeline
If these leaks are true, the OnePlus 13 Mini may present a stiff challenge to larger rivals such as the iQOO 13 and even the regular OnePlus 13. Though pricing information is limited, OnePlus may market it as a premium but comparatively low-cost compact flagship.
Leaked reports indicate the OnePlus 13 Mini will arrive in China around late April, with a possible Indian release in May.
