Design and Variants

The facelifted Sonet maintains its three trim options – Tech-Line, GT-Line, and X-Line – offering a diverse range of choices for discerning buyers. Notable exterior upgrades include all-new LED lighting elements, from the crown jewel LED headlight to the connected LED tail lights, providing both aesthetic appeal and improved visibility. Alloy wheels have also received an upgrade, with 16-inch alloys now standard on HTK trims and above.

Interior Elegance

Step inside, and the Sonet facelift continues to impress. The Tech-Line variant offers three interior trim options, ranging from all-black semi-leatherette to dual-tone black and beige or black and brown leatherette interiors. GT-Line introduces black leatherette upholstery with white inserts, while the top-end X-Line boasts all-black leatherette seats with sage green inserts. Technological enhancements include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system of the same size. The cabin is further enhanced by LED ambient sound lighting and an electric sunroof, creating a sophisticated and comfortable driving environment.

Advanced Features and Safety

In terms of features, the Sonet now boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This comes with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (wireless for lower trims), a 4-way adjustable powered driver seat, ventilation for front seats, a premium Bose sound system, and more. Safety is paramount, with standard features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill start assist. The option of Level 1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) further elevates safety standards, encompassing features like Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and High Beam Assist.

Powerful Performance

Under the hood, the Sonet retains its existing engine options – the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and the robust 1.5-litre VGT diesel. Transmission options include 5-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed DCT, ensuring a tailored driving experience for all preferences.

Booking Details

Enthusiasts can secure their Sonet facelift by pre-ordering now with a nominal token amount of Rs. 25,000. For existing Kia customers, the K-Code system provides a priority advantage in the booking process. The facelifted Sonet will start deliveries in January 2024, and the diesel-manual variants will be accessible in February 2024.
